Understand what VPNs, encrypted DNS, Cloudflare WARP, and business remote access actually do—without fear-based claims or affiliate-site noise.
Personal privacy, public Wi-Fi, travel, and secure access to company systems are related but distinct needs. A consumer VPN can add an encrypted layer to a VPN endpoint; it cannot replace MFA, device updates, endpoint protection, email security, backups, or monitoring.
If the real requirement is employee access, Microsoft 365 protection, managed devices, backups, or security monitoring, start with a business risk assessment—not a consumer VPN subscription.
